Canoe, mountain bike and backpack in the hills of eastern Oklahoma this summer over the course of one week and earn the BSA’s 50 miler award.
The Diamond H Scout Ranch offers a perfect program for Venturing Crews, older Boy Scouts and other youth groups. Paddle down the Illinois River, mountain bike over the hills and valleys of eastern Oklahoma and finish your adventure with a backpack trek inside the 6000 acres of the Diamond H Scout Ranch, a BSA-accredited High Adventure Base.
Treks are customizable and may include canoeing, mountain biking, backpacking, first aid training, GPS, orienteering, and outdoor cooking.
The extreme adventure happens in your choice of 1 of 3 sessions for the summer of 2010: June 19-25, June 26-July 2, July 17-23
The fee is $260 per participant which includes most of your gear and food.
