The next Venturing Forum will meet at the Central Oklahoma Wakeboard Center (COW-C) in Guthrie.
COW-C is the only wakeboard park in the state and uses a cable tow line to haul wakeboarders around a man-made lake. Along the way are jumps and rails for trick stunts wakeboarders can challenge themselves.
We won’t be wakeboarding during the meeting – not enough time but you’ll get to explore the newest waterpark in Oklahoma for a later visit with your crew.
The Venturing Forum is a monthly meeting of Venturers and Venturing Leaders. The meeting location changes each month to give crews the opportunities to explore some of the local adventures Oklahoma has to offer. Plan to bring your whole Crew to check out COW-C, enjoy fellowship with other Venturers, share ideas and learn about the coming plans for the Venturing District.
COW-C is located on I-35 in Guthrie. Exit 151 on Seward road which is 1 mile south of the first Guthrie exit. Head east 1 mile and turn north on N. Air Depot Road. A COW-C sign should be here to point you north. Go 1 mile north to Camp Drive and turn west and you’ll be there. If you try to Google this place with a regular search you’ll get a link that routes you the wrong way to the middle of the interstate. Here’s a customized Google maps link that works.
