Class times: Friday 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Bring your lunch)
Location: Camp Kickapoo, meeting at Eagle Lodge
Cost: $20.00 (includes some supplies, tower use and BSA publication “Topping Out”)
Class Size: maximum of 15
Requirements: Registered with BSA, 18 years or older, and have some experience and basic knowledge of rappelling and climbing. 16 years or older can obtain a “Climbing Instructor in Training” card
Purpose: Earn a Climbing Instructor card. Learn climbing and rappelling methods and techniques, BSA requirements and recommendations to provide a safe high adventure climbing program.
Course Registration Deadline: Wednesday preceding the course date. Course may fill prior to this date

COPE – Challenging Outdoor Physical Experience
Class times: November 7-8, 2009, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm each day, (Bring your lunch)
Location: Camp Kickapoo, meeting at Eagle Lodge
Cost: $15.00 (includes handouts, usage fees and surprises. BSA COPE manuals sold separately at the Scout Shop)
Class Size: minimum: 6 maximum: 12
Purpose: Training will be provided on both the Low course and High course elements. The program includes actual participation in the elements as a hands-on training experience (have fun like your Scouts for a couple of days).
Bring to Class: Official BSA Class 1,2 or 3 medical form or COPE Medical/Informed Consent form AND Hold Harmless form (available at the council customer service center). Lunch. Water bottle, Receipt of your $15.00 payment, ENTHUSIASM.
